The best Southern Italian peasant food in Pittsburgh. We provide a welcoming environment, featuring fresh, homemade pasta dishes, pizza Napoletana, appetizers, entrees, and wines on tap or by the bottle from our on-site winery. Piazza Talarico and Papa Joe’s Wine Cellars provides the most authentic Italian cuisine outside of an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. Our primary cook, Beth, was trained to prepare Italian dishes by her grandmother, Beth, and has in turn, trained her staff using many of our 100+ year old family recipes from Calabria. This is the closest thing in Pittsburgh to a family restaurant in Calabria, the great Little Italy restaurants on Arthur Avenue and Mulberry Street in New York, South Philadelphia, or Baltimore.
