On the River has been serving Brazosport for 34 years. We offer fresh foods prepared in our kitchen, featuring seafood, burgers, steak, salads and sandwiches. We have received many accolades through the years, including being named Top 40 Small Town Cafes in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine, named #1 in Brazosport in seafood, chicken fried steak, desserts, burgers, and other categories. We are famous for our one of a kind coleslaw and skillet cornbread!
