Hey there! Welcome to the Dairy Star Ice Cream! Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves.

We began 38 years ago when our founders turned a Dairy Queen into a family-owned ice cream shop in the Chicagoland area. In recent years we have been featured in several articles, including being named by Buzzfeed as the “#1 Soft Serve place in Illinois.” There’s also an awesome piece by Chicago’s Finest about us—be sure to check it out!
