Bistro 1828 at Pepperrell Cove is a neighborhood restaurant and roof-deck bar called the Ski Club in the heart of Kittery Point, Maine. The first floor bistro dining room is intimate and cozy. The third floor bar serves the same menu and is a bright and fun atmosphere with sweeping ocean views. Bistro 1828 is a complete renovation of the former Frisbee’s 1828 Market, which was once the longest owned family store in the country. Many relics of the market are repurposed in the new restaurant. The Ski Club honors the Waterskiing Club of Pepperrell Cove, which wowed the Seacoast some 60 years ago with their daredevil moves. Wonderful vintage photos adorn the Ski Club bar. Come visit! Reservations suggested but walk-ins welcome! Closed Tuesdays.
