Warm, brick-clad eatery serving down-home comfort cooking alongside wine, beer & mixed cocktails.
In 1774 the people of Taunton, Massachusetts wanted a way to voice their dissatisfaction with Mother England. So Taunton became the first of the American Colonies to Raise a Flag in opposition of British rule; a flag that touted the words, Liberty & Union, thus propelling our nation into the Revolutionary War.
Our Humble Liberty & Union Alehouse will be both a reminder of that great spirit that drove Colonial Tauntonians to proclaim their independence and thus be an Uplifting Addition to the Downtown Taunton Culinary Seen. We will strive to provide Good ol’ Down-Home Cooking paired with Exceptional Local and Imported Brews, Fine Wines, and Craft Mixed Cocktails.
