For almost 90 years The Model Bakery has been a Napa Valley mainstay, offering the best breads, pastries and coffee. Model Bakery is most famously known for their English Muffins which have been featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things List three years in a row!
It all began at the flagship Main Street location in St. Helena, then branched out to the Oxbow Public Market in Napa and is now operating in the newly opened Mini Model in Yountville.

We feature a virtual kaleidoscope of daily baked pastries for your on-the-go lifestyle or for savoring in our bakery shops. If you have eaten at any of the fine Napa Valley restaurants from the Carneros to Calistoga, there is a good chance you have enjoyed our bread. We take painstaking steps to ensure we source out only the finest ingredients, and never sacrifice quality for price. We also offer the absolute best selection in the Valley, including sourdough (cultivated from our own wine-grape based starter), sweet French, pain levain, harvest wheat, walnut bread, focaccia – even epi baguettes and other specialty breads – all made with extraordinary ingredients and care. Stop by and pick up a loaf – and taste the difference for yourself! Visit the Napa location in the afternoons and you may be so lucky to receive a warm baguette during our “late bake”
