The idea behind Sosie is to imbue our
California-grown wines with French soul. That soul has practical implications. It tells us when to pick the fruit and how to treat it in the cellar. But it also has personal meaning. French soul is our idea of how wine ought to be – the role it plays in our lives, how it’s consumed, what it signals.
Sosie wines are crafted to be food-friendly: soil driven while showcasing natural acidity, nuanced flavors and firm structure. They are made in small batches with minimal intervention and the lightest touch of oak.
