The Banner Elk Cafe and Tavern & The Lodge Espresso Bar and Eatery are located on one corner in downtown Banner Elk. Literally two restaurants joined by patios with a Tavern in the middle. This is a unique family owned complex that offers both menus. The BECafe menu is an all American fair with breakfast, lunch and dinner offered and the Lodge Espresso Bar offers an Italian menu from 11am-10pm daily Sun-Thursday and served until 11pm in the Tavern on weekends. The Tavern was built in May 2018 and has a rustic feel with a handmade 15foot social bar, granite bar-top and even a two sided fireplace for a inviting yet open ambiance. The Tavern has several TV’s for viewing sports. There is Live entertainment on weekends and Trivia Tuesdays 7-9p
