In 1969, 58-year-old Benjamin DiBartolo pursued his dream of starting a family-run business. Benjamin ran the shop with his wife Nina, & sons Alfred & Michael until he passed away in 1974. His sons stayed on at the bakery & kept the family tradition alive. In 1990, DiBartolo Bakery relocated to Collingswood, NJ. Al DiBartolo Jr., has leveled up on Benjamin’s dream. An award-winning cake designer & third-generation baker, he is known for over-the-top occasion cakes & sugary creations. Since June 2020, DiBartolo Bakery has been a part of Genesis Hospitality Group, which allowed for a welcome expansion into a second location in Haddonfield, NJ. Both locations continue to follow the DiBartolo family recipe.
