Seattle’s little sister to the south, Burien, is a proud community with strong blue-collar roots and amazingly diverse population. Amazing views and proximately to just about everywhere, Burien feels connected to the larger region in many ways.

Opened in 2007, The Elliott Bay Brewhouse is kitty-corner from City Hall on 152nd St., which is local for main street. Being just a stone’s-throw from the Sea-Tac airport, it’s not uncommon to see guests checking their phones and waiting for that call that their loved ones are here. In other words, a cell phone waiting lot with beer. What’s not to love?
