We are an event space and lodging grounded in the story of Leadville’s gritty mining history while engaging its adventurous and spirited future. Set in the rustic industrial space of a 135-year old train freight depot, FREIGHT is a place that sparks what’s next. Now a vibrant event space, the “yes place” hosts film festivals, fundraisers, contradances, weddings, quincineras, the Yak (Leadville’s version of the “Moth”), business retreats and more. Its companion piece, the S.L.umber Yard, offers year-round lodging in 13 comfy, contemporary cabins, all socially-distanced. A sip of Colorado’s most rarified air!
