We the People of Gov’t Taco, in Order to form a more perfect Taco, establish Flavors, insure fresh Ingredients, provide for the tastiest consumption, promote the general Food Scene, and secure the Blessings of Tacos to ourselves and to Posterity, do ordain and establish this Taco Shop in Baton Rouge in the name of Gov’t Taco.

This isn’t your typical Mexican restaurant! Gov’t Taco was made in mind to provide an experience that is catered to local tastes. Now with our own location, you can experience our revolutionary cuisine to the fullest! Come in regularly to try out our always-changing menu, specials, and cocktails served at our bat. Our founding father, Jay Ducote, is always happy to have our customers try his local take on tacos!
