About Jaxson’s Fine Foods on the Lake
A Farm-to-Table commitment can be a daunting task for a restaurant, but at Jaxson’s Grill & Brewery, we strive every day to utilize the freshest product available here in the Heartland. Harvesting fresh herbs from our own Garden (donated by ‘Triple J’ Nurseries out on Henscratch Road), and using ground-fresh-daily Hamburger Meat from Hartzell’s Meat Market right here in Lake Placid are just two examples of our pledge to support the local economy. And that Florida Alligator Tail – all we have to say is – fried or grilled – you won’t be disappointed!
What the heck is a Hookie Melt?
A Hookiemelt is our signature appetizer only available at Jaxson’s Bar and Grill. The most ‘wickedly-delicious’ combination of chicken tenders (grilled or fried)…served with choice of hot sauce (mild, medium or hot)…smothered with cheeses, chopped onion and sour cream…melted in our ovens (Enough For Two!) You’ll just have to come in to try one of the most unique and delicious appetizers in Florida, and experience it for yourself.
