Oma’s Hideaway finds inspiration in the life and spirit of Chef Thomas Pisha-Duffly’s Oma, Kiong Tien Vandenberg. Her ability to adapt, to make the most out of limited resources, and to stay creative while projecting warmth and brightness is the guiding force behind Oma’s Hideaway.
We serve bright, funky, playful food influenced by the cuisine of Southeast Asia, and in particular the hawker foods of Singapore and Malaysia. We are delighted to offer thoughtful, handcrafted cocktails, both boozy and zero proof.
Oma’s Hideaway is an homage to all grandmothers, matriarchs, and grandchildren. We hope you feel as spoiled walking out of Oma’s Hideaway as Chef Tom felt as a child leaving his Oma’s house with a belly full of Kopi candy.
