Originating in Knoxville during the 1982 World’s Fair, Petro’s is known for its signature Petro—a barrel of deliciousness featuring your choice of our original chicken (97% lean) or plant-based chilis, Frito’s and your preferred toppings (typically cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, green onion, olives & jalapeños….but also guacamole, grilled chicken, BBQ pulled pork and more!). The tastiness doesn’t end there. Our Hint-of-Orange Iced Tea, which is freshly brewed to perfection throughout the day and features just a hint of orange, is also an award-winning crowd favorite.

Our menu also features giant baked potatoes, made-to-order wedge salads, 100% all-beef black angus hot dogs, crave-worthy nachos and Christie® Cookies.

The Petro each made – to – order petro is made with fritos corn chips covered with your choice of one of our world – famous specialty chilis (original, chicken or veggie) and grated cheeses, chopped tomatoes, green onions, and sour cream, add optional black olives, jalapenos or home – style salsa for extra zest! small medium and large.
Lite Petro enjoy the great taste of the original petro with 60% less fat! small, medium, and large lite’n up any menu item by substituting fat – free cheeses and sour cream for a nominal charge.
Pasta Petro a new twist on an old favorite, we substitute pasta for the fritos and build from there, top it off with parmesan cheese – you do the rest – just mix, twist and eat! small, medium, and large, pasta petro’s may not be available at all locations.
The Garden Petro fresh lettuce bed topped with our original recipe chili, grated cheeses, diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, sour cream, then surrounded with tostitos white tortilla chips and served with our homemade ransalsa dressing, we also offer optional black olives and, or jalapenos.
