Rob’s Good Times Grill is a household name on Kauai and is located in the heart of Lihue. We offer an excellent food menu and cocktails to suit all tastes. Rob’s is one of those places people return to time and time again. Originally the first Karaoke Bar on the island back when the music was housed on gigantic 15″ discs, Rob’s has since evolved to become the one stop for food, entertainment and sports viewing on the island. From keiki (child) to kapuna (elder) and every one in between, people feel welcome when they walk through our doors. Here at Rob’s we join in each and every celebration, as well as share in those that are more challenging.

Rob’s Good Times Grill in Lihue is not only the largest Kauai sports bar but also the most popular with visitors as well as the locals. With over 20 screens for sports viewing, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

From the birth of Jazz in New Orleans during the 1890’s, through a booming stock market, followed by a crashing stock market and ensuing depression, Jazz music and Swing dancing were means by which Americans could feel good about themselves. In the mid 1930’s, Jazz music was being referred to as Swing, and the likes of Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Artie Shaw, Glen Miller and Benny Goodman were some of the names belting out the music. The Savoy Ballroom in Harlem was Swing Dance Central. In the late 1930’s Count Basie’s Kansas City style Blues began to take off. During WWII and throughout our country’s history, Jazz and Swing dancing have influenced and been influenced by the styles of the times.
