A history of San Carlos Bay Seafood Restaurant.
The founder, Irma Valle, was inspired by her travels in San Carlos Bay, Sonora Mexico. She fell in love with the relaxed flow of life mimicking the soft waves falling on the beach. The freshness of the seafood and flavors the restaurants prepared made her want to share this experience in Arizona.
Irma brought that relaxed atmosphere and fresh seafood delivered directly from Guaymas Sonora to Phoenix residents. Many of which are still customers since in its opening 1988. Her passing in 2004 was much too soon, and in 2008 Irma’s daughter Giselle Padilla took over the family business.
San Carlos Bay Restaurant still sources its seafood from near that blue bay Irma fell in love with.
