Tahk Omakase Sushi, Steamboat Springs’ first traditional sushi restaurant, follows a traditional sushi concept called Edo-Mae and Izakaya. The Edo-Mae style of sushi refers to preserving and curing the highest quality sushi grade fish from the Toyosu Fish Market in Japan (formerly the famous Tsukiji Market). Izakaya refers to traditional hot plate options such as tempura and marinated, grilled foods. The most exciting dinning experience in steamboat is found here, at our Omakase bar. Omakase translates to chef’s choice, which allows our guests to talk to our head Chef about their likes and dislikes to create a truly unique dinner. We also offer wine, Japanese beer and a large selection of sake.
