Hidden River Heavens To Brettsy
Douglasville, pa (5%) “heavens to betsy! Many words have been uttered in our building over that last 300 years. Phrases and exclamations that we may no longer know have likely been heard by these walls and halls. Heavens to brettsy is an ode to those lost and uncommon expressions. This 100% brettanomyces fermented ale was cautiously and lightly dry hopped with nelson sauvin and hallertau blanc resulting in notes of womn leather, damp sidewalk, noble rot, bay leaf, pineapple skins, lemons and wet grass. One sip and you’ll be yelling out: “heavens to brettsy!!”
Hidden River Buffalo Trace Barrel Aged Celestial Shadows
Douglasville, pa. Imperial stout. (10.2%) “we brewed celestial shadows in honor of the total solar eclipse that occurred earlier this year, and right when the sun was behind the moon, we took some of it and filled a buffalo trace bourbon barrel sourced by our friends at teresa’s next door in wayne. We offer this big imperial stout with notes of chocolate covered raisins, rum cake, and deep berry infused coffee, followed by beautiful rounded notes of oak, black licorice, and the depths of winter. Honor the sun, and drink your warmth!”
Hidden River Eternal And Divine
Douglasville, pa. (5%) “beer and agriculture are inseparable, as both developed through efforts to sustain humanity. Their status in the world is both divine and eternal, since they have not only kept us alive, but also contributed to our ability to create our modern world. Eternal & divine is our ode to these two achievements, a classic farmhouse saison conditioned on lemon zest and local grown thyme from our friends at broad wing farm. Unique notes of hyacinth, thyme, lemon peel, faint bubblegum and freshly turned earth will transport you to a different time, somehow past, present and future all at once.”
Sly Fox Keller Pils
Pottstown, pa, unfiltered pilsner. (4.9%) this is the unfiltered version of the already great pikeland pils. Lightly cloudy golden color. Crisp and clean on the palate with a note of bitterness in the finish from the german & czech hops.
Pottstown United Brewing Seal Breaker
Pottstown, pa. Session ipa.(4.5%) “brewed with 2-row, imunich, wheat and oats for a firm mouth feel for such a small beer. Hopped with mandarina bavaria for bitterness, and mosaic, idaho 7. Est kent goldings and mandarina bavaria hops for a flavor and dry hopping.”
Pottstown United Brewing Mrs. Parker
Pottstown, pa. India pale ale (7.1%). “Made with 100% mosaic hops, this beer has the tropical fruit/citrus flavor that these hops are known for. Light, smooth, and refreshing for a higher abv for the style, this beer will have you thirsting for more.”
