Named the World’s Best Dive Bar, and Most Iconic Bar in Washington.Opened in 1929, The 5 Point is one of the longest run family eateries and oldest bars still in existence in Seattle (along with our sister The Mecca Cafe just down the road). The 5 Point is a dimly-lit working class dive that serves hearty, inexpensive, unpretentious food with a usually crowded cocktail lounge serving up stiff drinks and raucous conversation. The chicken fried steak still weighs in at 11 ounces (“the biggest in Seattle”), and the full menu is available 24/7.
