Alaro is not only Sacramento’s most heavily awarded Craft Brewery but also an upscale, Spanish inspired restaurant. Led by our head brewer, team alaro gathered in a beautiful hop field near the hamlet of freeport, along the sacramento river to hand harvest fresh cascade hop cones to make this beer. It is not light work to hand pick hops but knowing that the fruits of our labor would soon be enjoyed by our local community made all the effort worthwhile.
