Dimly lit hi-fi listening bar in Uptown Oakland set in a sleek, modern space. It’s the first bar of its kind in The Bay Area. Bar Shiru features mostly jazz, soul and afrobeat records played in their entirety on a fully analog audiophile sound system. Expect an elevated cocktail menu, lengthy whisk(e)y-focused spirits and local craft beer, sake, wine and non-alcoholic options.
